Gillett Entertainment Group is pleased to announce that the UK’s hottest and most successful rock show ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN, celebrating the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen, is coming to Montreal for the first time on May 3rd at the Metropolis.
Since winning ITV’s Stars in their Eyes’ Gary Mullen has been recognized worldwide as the closest thing to Freddie. His voice, persona and portrayal send a shiver down your spine and leave your hairs standing on end. He and his band, The Works, recreate the excitement and atmosphere of a live Queen concert to unmatched perfection.
Nine years of touring has seen One Night of Queen build a reputation of regularly selling out large theatres and concert halls across the UK, Europe, and the world!
They have just returned from their second tour of the U.S. where they sold nearly 100,000 tickets over 2 tours (2008 and 2009) in more than 75 cities. Demand is so high that they are already scheduled to return in 2010 to conquer even more states and cities over a 10 week, 50 date tour. One Night of Queen have played to sell out crowds worldwide including 45,000 fans at the iconic Hyde Park in London for the prestigious BBC ’Proms In the Park’ in September 2009.
