CANADIAN CARNAGE TOUR - Postponed

Gillett Entertainment Group is regretfully announcing that the Canadian Carnage Tour featuring MEGADETH  and SLAYER has been postponed due to a health-related issue with Slayer’s Tom Araya.  The tour was slated to begin on November 8th in Moncton with stops at the Halifax Metro Centre November 9th, the Bell Centre in Montreal on November 11th, and the Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City on November 12th.

Please note that ticket holders are strongly encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will be honoured for the new dates, which will be announced shortly.

Slayer's Tom Araya is currently under the care of a specialist for a back injury, thought to be related to his on-stage activity, and the physician has ordered an immediate surgical procedure to take place in Texas tomorrow morning (Tuesday, November 3rd).

"What is foremost in our minds right now is that Tom do whatever he needs to get this taken care of," said Slayer's Kerry King.  "While all four of us are disappointed that we won't be able to see through all of our commitments set for the next few weeks, the most important thing is Tom's health.  We thank the fans in Canada, says the Megadeth camp.  We look forward to seeing you all soon."

The promoter apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
